The starting point
MarketLos Angeles, CA (2006 S. La Cienega Blvd, Mid-City)
Visit the client websiteSteamPro approached us with a problem most 30-year-old businesses eventually face: a sterling local reputation that simply wasn't showing up in search.
SteamPro is an IICRC-certified deep cleaning and restoration company serving Los Angeles homes and businesses for over three decades, with 500+ five-star reviews, a 4.9 Google rating and a Mid-City rug facility. But the digital footprint didn't reflect any of it. The company ranked for its own brand name and little else, while newer franchise competitors with a fraction of the experience owned the map pack across the Westside and the Valley.
Compounding the issue, SteamPro offers eleven distinct services. carpet, upholstery, rug, tile and grout, hardwood, air duct, mattress, drapery, fabric protection, water removal and rug pad installation. across dozens of LA neighborhoods. A single homepage was being asked to rank for hundreds of high-intent local queries.
We rebuilt the site on a service-by-neighborhood architecture, overhauled the Google Business Profile strategy and launched paid search against the emergency and high-margin service lines.
A connected engagement
The customer journey
Dedicated destinations gave carpet, rug, upholstery, and restoration searches a clearer place to land.
Pricing, drying time, and cleaning-method content addressed uncertainty before the inquiry.
Prominent calling and a revised quote flow connected discovery to a practical action.
Strategy into delivery
Rather than one page fighting for hundreds of queries, we built a matrix of service pages crossed with SteamPro's four service areas. Westside & Beaches, Central & Hills, Valley, and South & Downtown.
Strategy into delivery
We rebuilt the Google Business Profile from the ground up: complete service and attribute coverage, weekly photo posting from real jobs, Q&A seeding against common objections, and a review generation cadence that took SteamPro from sporadic reviews to a steady monthly flow. while holding the 4.9 rating.
Strategy into delivery
We concentrated PPC spend where urgency and margin overlap: water removal, pet stain and odor removal, and same-day carpet cleaning. Call-only campaigns during business hours, tightly geofenced to the service radius, drove cost per conversion down 43% against the client's prior in-house efforts.
Strategy into delivery
The content program targeted the questions that stall a booking: pricing, dry time, cleaning frequency, and whether professional cleaning beats a rental machine. Each piece routes to the relevant service page and now contributes a meaningful share of assisted conversions.
Strategy into delivery
Ongoing CRO work on the quote request flow. click-to-call prominence on mobile, service selection ahead of contact details, and trust signals placed adjacent to the form. lifted mobile conversion rate by 143%, which mattered enormously for a business where most searches happen on a phone.

The strategic takeaway
Service pages, neighborhood coverage, profile activity, and mobile conversion work addressed different parts of the same customer journey. The reported increase in booked jobs matters because it moves beyond visibility to an operational outcome. Paid search was another part of the engagement, so the overall booking result should not be attributed to organic search alone.

The overview reports organic traffic and booked-job growth within the first 18 months. Figures reflect the full engagement described in the supplied case study. Channel measures can overlap and should not be added together. Percentage changes are relative changes, not percentage-point increases. Results vary by business and starting point.
